What We Do

Our Impact in the Valley:

.01

Advanced Law Enforcement Training

We deliver high-quality, specialized instruction to law enforcement professionals in areas such as gang investigations, narcotics enforcement, tactical operations, digital forensics, and emerging crime trends.

.02

Conferences

We host an annual conference called the “ICGIC Annual Gang & Transnational Crime Conference”. These large-scale training conferences unite and support law enforcement agencies across multiple jurisdictions.

.03

School Presentations

By appointment, ICGIC provides educational presentations to students in our relentless efforts to promote the prevention of crime and build stronger, safer communities.

.04

Youth Programs

Our organization supports our communities through youth programs as part of our ongoing efforts to strengthen them.

.05

Interagency Collaboration

The coalition brings together personnel from local police departments, the Sheriff’s Office, and state and federal partners. This fosters stronger working relationships, improves communication, and helps agencies coordinate more effectively on investigations and operations.

.06

Intelligence Sharing

By creating a network of connected agencies, ICGIC helps facilitate the exchange of information on gang activity, crime trends, and emerging threats—allowing officers to make more informed decisions in the field.

.07

Community Outreach

ICGIC is committed to community outreach and prevention. One of the ways we promote this initiative is through delivering anti-gang education, supporting youth programs, and promoting proactive approaches to reducing crime.

.08

ICGIC Partnerships

Our partnerships with organizations such as HIDTA, IVLECC, the Imperial County Probation Department, the United States Border Patrol, the Quechan Tribe, El Centro PAL, and the IID help us reach more people across the region and strengthen our collective effort to keep Imperial Valley communities safe.
